This. Whenever I see stuff like this, I think about that thread that was made asking the men here what they bring to the table they literally said “my word” . Dudes be boring, lazy, rude af, extremely unsupportive but want women to want them. That used to slide in other generations because women couldn’t survive without a man but you have to actually be likeable and the boys don’t like that.

All these years men we’re trying to scare women “you’ll be alone” “you’ll die alone if you don’t lower your standards” but they were really thinking “I’m gonna die alone if you don’t settle for me”.

it's not due to "healthier standards", this is media pandering to an agenda. The reality? Men AND women are thirsting heavily out here. If you have a solid full time job you're like a king practically. But everyone thinks only men are bumming it. NOPE! Women are struggling, I have many female friends that are perpetually single. One app I use has all the same users when I was using it 7 years ago. Most are still single or single again. No kids. Women with kids are with bums mostly and know it, and throw it at a guy like me. More people are living at home. Many women and to a lesser extent men are obese. Men can be total weirdos, I've heard the stories, but so can women.

I'm a half fukk up so I've seen both sides, but the guys women mess with when they're younger turn out to be losers. In the big leagues, desirable women get passed around, and can't stick with a dude to save their lives. If you're at all social and put together you'll do fine. The pendulum of simpery and social media BS is swinging in dire economic times like these. Women have inflated egos but reality will continue smashing them in the face. OF e-thottery market is heavily inflated and you won't get paid unless you're top tier or marketing a niche like fetishes. I know one girl with a OF who doesn't even get paid from it anymore and she's been making content for years now.

The lie being sold to us by "online suitors" and "online dating" as well as "body positivity", and "social media" are all becoming more apparent every single day. You can't fight delusion, so don't expect delusional people to wake up unless they want to.

People aren’t leaving the house as much, and running into each other organically. There was a time when the only food you could get delivered was Chinese and Pizza. Now, you can order pretty much anything, including dessert on an app. You don’t have to go to the store to look at electronics, or clothes, or groceries. You can have everything delivered. You don’t have to go to the movies. You can stream. You don’t have to go to the gym. You can have a few pieces of equipment at home. You can get a Pelaton. And you have more access to people on dating apps.

BUT, the amount of men looking for a serious relationship on dating apps is small. Most are only looking for a hookup. Most women are looking for dating and relationships on apps, and dating sites. Plus, let’s face it, most attractive men don’t need to date online.

Again, people have to be realistic. Maybe she had a hoe phase like men have hoe phases. Humans like sex. That doesn’t mean we don’t need relationships.
