I think it’s true, especially playing online games when you’re trying to constantly outthink people.
The key is moderation though and realizing you’re not some genius because you play video games.
Nearly every single one of my teachers were wrong about video games though.
Reading the plot in SNES RPG games > reading Pippi Longstocking or whatever tf that book was and I get more out of it cognitively.
Honestly, a well-told video game story is no different than a literary work of art.
