If I had to tally, my boyfriend probably spends upwards of $150 every time we go out. And we go out several times a week.

Not all men are in the same financial situation. For some that's a lot, and for some it's not.

For his troubles he's getting the same thing I'm getting for taking a girl out for grilled chicken tacos maybe less

Some of you dudes sound a lil wack for real. it don't got to be tricking on a girl to have a good time. i like going rock climbing/ go karting and stuff like that on first dates, sometimes that shyt adds up. Not me. The cost of living is high here. And maybe that's why I'm used to having people be satisfied with coffee and diners. We have bills here. I met my girl that I'm with now at a diner, and went out for coffee the first few dates. Didn't get to dinner or the movies, until a little while after.

I mean if you live in Kansas, sure drop 150 on a date, you don't gotta spend It on shyt else. But in nyc everyone is hustling and making deadlines, and paying rent. Women are perfectly fine with basic coffee dates because they know if you live alone you're paying 1700+ for rent anyway.

@ rock climbing and go karting. fukk all that. last broad i met up with, went to this pizza spot where they make u both a custom pizza for 7.95$, add 1.99$ for fountain drink. pizza was crack and i spent < 20$.
another thing i dont get is, when dudes are trying to smash, why go out and have dinner? dont ppl know what happens after u have a big ass meal
last thing i want is a well fed, bloated bytch with a full stomach coming back to my crib belching, breath smelling like sauteed garlic talkin bout im tired/im sleepy/im so full omg/ omg im gona go home
