And there is a difference between what they send to JCP, macys, sears, etc....for your typical 550 or 501, not much, but they do spare their better materials for their stores, barneys, etc....i suggest a visit to a levis store, especially a levis outlet to get some deals

fukk @ them prices. the cuts, fits and denim better be top notch for that shyt. I've seen cats rocking cheap ass H&M jeans and the shyts look official on the strength of the cut alone. I'm not trying to be cheap but I'd rather not drop over $100 on some jeans. I'd rather cop like 3-4 official ass pairs of jeans at like $75 each if they fit exceptionally well and can set off whatever top/shoes/hat/jacket I throw at it

Me either. I rock regular slim straight levis and have gotten some some of their higher end cuts at outlets at sub or at $100 price point.

I was with you up until this part because the quality of hats (if you know what youre looking at) matters big time. I'm not talking about some $20 bullshyt from H&M or whatever, Im talking about hats you specifically have to go to a hat store and buy, try on and have them adjust for you (if needed). A bullshyt fitted is one thing but a good straw (yes, quality straw hats cost $$) or felt fedora is worth the investment and if you buy from an official spot, they have no problem with repairing your hat if it gets crushed or needs reshaping.

I think you should spend dough on pants/jeans. With jeans the cut/fit and wash is everything. Levis are a good inexpensive option. Gap too. Gap has some raw joints for less than $100. Ralph lautren drnim supply are cheaper too(although i hate the stitching on the back pockets)I go to Barney's outlet and cop nudies, naked and famous, jbrand raw for $50-$75. Outlets and clearance sales is key. I'll throw down more for the right jeans.

Just make sure they got a nice taper and they are slim. If they're too slim looking, go up a size. Just don't cop some straight leg trash that will be dragging on the ground. A bad fit/cut can ruin an entire outfit. I'm not big on flashy designs on the pockets either so none of that r&r, true religion stuff.

That's a lot. But if they are quality, then no big deal. I wouldn't spend that much...but I have no issue with folk spending dough on quality sh1t.

I dig you on the belts and underwear..especially because I like to buy new underwear regularly, can't do that when they hittin for designer prices.

Can't rock wit you on the shades though. I actually bought some cheap shades and found that they didn't filter light the right way. With my real pair of Raybans the light is filtered in a way that I can see what I need to see, and the harsh light kept from my eyes. The fake shades just dim everything....Not always a good thing.

Yeah, I copped some Tortoise RBs (not at retail price) and they are noticeably different from the other KC shades I had with the light/sun

I quasi-agree with you but I think the belt should match the shoes esp when dressed up (i.e. work, etc.)

Dudes here stay matching their hat with their shirt with their shoes with the stitching in their jeans. Can't break that shyt for nothing. Its a "box set" at that point.

Personally, i find myself not matching a damn thing, color-wise. More about the fit.
