Every election since I have been alive has always been we have to vote for the lesser of two evils. Every election our people vote Democrat with nothing tangible being offered to us. Every other race and group holds their vote hostage and makes politicians earn their vote. With the lesser of two evils argument we will NEVER get anything. The LGBT gets tangibles. Hispanics get tangibles. We have a severe case of Stockholm syndrome

Every election since Roe v. Wade, the evangelicals have been demanding its repeal and not getting it. What they put in place was a long term plan that's coming to fruition right now. A supreme court packed with conservatives, lower courts packed with conservatives, and Texas got thru a defacto repeal.

My point? nikkas need to stop thinking some magical president is going to come in and wave a wand that will instantly solve everything. Politics is a long game. Think strategic.

what if I have politics beyond black people exclusive issues? I care about climate change too for example. I'm still capable of having a clear preference even if neither candidate addresses every single thing i care about.

This logic is like failing every student who doesn't get 100% on an exam. I still prefer a C student over an F student. and shutting down the school entirely isn't suddenly gonna net me any A+'s. but that seems to be the strategy i'm hearing. If that really works, why hasn't it really worked yet?

You honestly think these politicians are going to put black exclusive issues at the forefront of their campaigns?

I don’t think anyone thinks they will run exclusively off black only issue.

The point of withholding votes is to hopefully make them earn the vote in the years leading up to the elections.
As currently constructed they promise shyt during the elections based on our fear of repubs but do nothing once they got our vote

Dems are on the ropes and can’t afford to lose our vote. A few loses will have them making moves for us before elections

You wont catch me for the party. All i know is one party is LITERALLY out to wipe us off the face of the earth.. and the other one.. while working slow and dumb as fukk at times.. has shown the ability to at least SOMEWHAT come through in times of need. Take this pandemic for instance.
