I find this interesting and it must be a southern thing because I personally can't think of anyone that doesn't have some form of ID. Whether that be a license, passport or state ID. Then again i live in NY and we even have a city ID and muhfukkas gave drivers licenses to illegals. It really isn't a problem here but I'll give these a read, the south is different.

The fact is.. ID's have never been required to vote. It's only started since Trump lost. That's when they started making it a big deal. I've said it from the jump.. make a national ID card for all eligible citizens to vote. Make it free, and send them out. That way nobody can bytch and moan about votes being fraudulent. The problem is.. republicans already know that there's no outstanding voter fraud being committed.. so what would they do? They'd oppose the funding for the voter ID cards to go out. And we wouldn't be able to get the bill passed through congress. That should be as bipartisan as hell. But naa. They wont go for it.

Because that is on the back of our earlier generations. Unfortunately, they didn't allow us a lot of time. In a lot of cases, we are a the brink. Republicans gets busy stocking judges in the courts, plugging people all throughout the political networks in the country and stay indoctrinating them. They work on code for themselves. Why in the hell would a majority slowing losing its grip on that status in the country, do anything to help others. Remember, equality to the privileged feels like oppression. Republicans are out for self, no one else. At least with Democrats, if it is even lip service and token crumbs, its always better than the stance of fukk you from the Republicans.

We withhold our votes, then what? What is the recourse? What actions do we take? Just sit and wait? Wait for what? Know why nothing is ever done. We don't have enough political or monetary capital to be heard. We are in a disadvantaged position as sad as it sounds. So, in the act of self-preservation, we try to make in-roads with the lesser of two evils because with one party, we have a chance, with the other party, there isn't a chance in hell.

Also always remember, your best candidate is yourself. It is impossible to like all things that your preferred candidate represents. Biden brought us back into the Paris Climate Accord, got 1.9 trillion coronavirus and economic bill passed by only Democrats that allowed people to have some cash with their unemployment claims. Do you know how many black people have lost their jobs due to this and was able to hold onto something tangible like having a roof over their heads during this time. Ramping up the Covid response was a success as well.

Republicans are not kicking people out and using the common term RINO to anyone that isn't acquiescing to Trump. What the hell is there for us to gain when their are people that are actively trying to out crazy Trump. We got people like Madison Cawthorn, Elise Stefanik, Lauren Boebert & Marjorie Taylor Greene running around for the GOP. There isn't any negotiation that will ever happen with them. Liz Chaney is the daughter of a Republican Vice President that was in office 13 years ago, not even a full generation and the crazies of her parties are trying to cancel her. Republicans stay trying to kill union jobs. Union jobs are why a lot of black people have been able to sustain middle class lives for decades. The push to overturn Roe vs Wade. So do we want our young black women going back to the coat hangers again? Democrats fight to give women their choice. The difference between the two parties were never as stark as they are now. One of these parties wishes you were never here and are trying to change laws to make that as much of a reality as they possibly can.

In a lot of places, where to get said ID has been closed. DMVs in places with large minority populations get closed down and not everyone has available transportation to get to a place that might be 50 plus miles out.
