My point still stands. The women were breed more toward thier feminity . The other side of the coin that people leave out is those same men would die for their family's . Look how many brotha went to WW2 to prove that they were men to America and to make their family proud. Actually, I think it’s the opposite in the black community.

And also, the clarification needs to be made, just because you have money, doesn’t mean you have social status.

Back in the day, the black “power couples” used to comprise of a dark skin man who came from nothing but made millions through whatever endeavor, who married a light skin woman from a prominent black family. The woman may have been simply an elementary school teacher, but her family and her name brought prestige and legitimacy to her husband. In that case, the millionaire husband was viewed as marrying up. This was common for successful black men all over.

I made no such inference, what you should have taken from the comment, given the context of the thread, is that women who do choose to seek out partners for marriage will have much higher standards than women that preceded them. This isn't about women not being able to find partners, it's about them not being able to find qualified partners, there's a very clear distinction here.
