It's not about being scared it's about protecting people that are vulnerable and not having this hospitals overrun and medical works overworked.

It's scary when people are trying to police others about how often to attend "essential" places, instead of just minding their fukking business, and staying in there own home. It's scary when people call for total lockdown, behind this. THIS. Yeah I get it don't congregate, cover your mouths, stay 6 feet away from people, but at a certain point, just like with every other thing that's ever happened in human history, life is going to have to happen again. Because you can literally say it's about "protecting people that are vulnerable" about damn near anything. That's just how "vulnerability" works. As for the other thing, what's the timeline for acceptable losses and hospital overrun? 2 weeks?, a month?, a year? Until there is a vaccine?

pretty sure we will. expect by the end of may this will die down and by july people will have forgotten about it till the fall
It'll be watered-down, but there's a bunch of "good" news coming out. NYC had a second day of what looks like a downward trend. I doubt we're going to allow big crowds to get together for the time being, but if restaurants and bars could come back, I'm fukking good.

You think it’s gonna get worse than it already is?
I think it's widely-accepted that this month will be peak for most states. Some will see them towards early May (Florida). But look at Hong Kong and China, they went a bit too crazy on reopening and had to shut things right back down. We have to be careful with how things start reopening and whether we should ban domestic travel from other states. I hope I get a summer this year, because .... whew. Gonna go wild the first night out.
