They say that Mario is ass, but if that game was released on PS4, they would worship it to no end. No matter how much success that Sony Has, it still burns them that the best franchises in gaming is games that they can never have.
Sony = Jay-Z
Nintendo = Nas.
People want Nintendo to develop for them so they can fukk up the franchises on some EA shyt.

Stolen from GAF. If you look at Nintendo's track record of console sales other than the Wii which we all know was the benefactor of a well timed gimmick all Nintendo consoles have sold within 15-20 million worse than their predecessors. Its just been a steady decline.
And yet they've continued to make consoles. They didn't stop at GC when they sold 20-25 mil.

I have no clue. But I don't see any benefit to them doing something now that they can do a few years from now with no additional recourse. As long as they have excess money to invest, they're going to keep R&Ding what their next plan is.

They won't bow out. Nintendo designes consoles to be tailor-made for their games, and their games always sell. If you look at the best selling video games of all time, it's pretty much a toss-up of different Nintendo series (mainly Mario and Pokémon) and the GTA series.
Also, people keep acting as if the Wii and DS flat-out didn't happen. Yeah, maybe the Wii's extraordinary sales were once in a lifetime, but the money they made didn't just disappear into thin air.

There are three games that I can see some people arguiging for: Super Mario World, Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy 2. Personally, I agree, Mario 3 is GOAT with only SM3DW challenging the throne.
