Movie looks fire and it might be a day one from me. Jack Black sounds dope as bowser but I’m not feeling Chris Pratt as Mario and I think people are going to have an issue with his voice. Since it isn’t true to the character.

I had my doubts but Jack Black pretty much nailed it as Bowser.

I don't know why people was doubting jack black he killed it in kung Fu panda... no one should have any doubts about his voice over work... Pratt is really the weakest link in the cast...

Sidenote: Bradley Cooper would have been a better fit since he did rocket in GOTG... that's how you do voice acting u b*stards!!!

80's Babies stand up. They finally did it. For the last 30 years after the live action film, I was like. "Hello, just animate it. You can do much more in animation with this world." Nintendo finally woke up and realized they are sitting on millions of dollars with a Nintendo Cinematic Universe. There was a Mario Bros. cartoon growing up too. Illumination was perfect for this. The colors, animation and style was just right. I agree that Chris seemed to just do a basic voice. I don't expect it to sound just like the game but that voice was basic. Might mess around and watch the Japanese dub if they make one, lol. But I liked the trailer.
