First of all, thanks for your time.

I wanna point out though your first post to me said something like "never have Nintendo as your ONLY console" but in this post you seem to also make a strong case in the Switch's favor... I guess honestly it comes down to preference... I have more friends on the PS4 but considering I got a little one running around and stuff the handheld switch may be better...


Dammit.

Anytime playboy. I know I posted seems confusing, but my OG point still stands...the Switch is a blast but I don’t think it offers an experience as enjoyable as the conventional one the PS4 brings to the table at the end of the day. Either way you’ll be happy though. No “wrong” decision here.

I wonder how many of those CG cutscenes we're going to get. Brawl had quite a few (about an hour's worth), but with everything else going into this game and Sak saying WoL is more about "fun than story," I can't see that happening this time around. Especially given the higher res graphics and full voice acting. But we'll see.

Nah. Sakurai is pretty transparent, moreso than most Nintendo devs. Plus, the Direct was probably already filmed and being edited when that last leak even hit. No way they went back to remove hints of one character because of a leak. Gotta remember these games have their marketing plans layed out months in advance and things rarely shift. So I believe him when he says none of the DLC is ready and I believe Banjo simply wasn't planned for the game.

There is still hope for him as DLC, of course.

Really preferring the approach to single player content this time. Rather than throwing in everything and the kitchen sink, they picked a few modes and set about making them as robust as possible.Things like Break the Targets and Home Run Contest were cute, but were never all that meaty as modes. And stage creator always sucked. I greatly prefer the more robust classic and adventure modes.

People on the Smash Bros reddit are birching about their exclusion hard...I pointed out the same thing you did, the fact that the devs are giving us an adventure with cutscenes in addition to a 74 player roster and 100+ stages, 1000+ songs....and got hit with downvotes
