Min Min gameplay. she's a lot of fun, but hard to utilize.

I started using Kirby a month or 2 ago so I appreciate the buffs a lot. I didn’t enjoy using min min my first try but maybe I’ll be inspired another day

I quit playing this months ago. I think i hate this game now. The roster is too bloated and the balance makes less and less sense every patch

Their approach is to buff the lower end characters rather than nerfing the ones considered top tier, which I like. As great as Melee is competitive, the fact is character balance is awful. Everyone plays either Puff, Fox, Falco, Marth, or Shiek for the most part. The only unnecessary nerf was Pichu IMO. Ultimate, on the other hand, the only characters I would consider to be not viable would be Kirby, Puff, Dr. Mario, Ganon, Lil Mac, and Isabelle.

The problem with Ultimate is the awful buffering system and it has the most input in the history of the franchise. This doesn't include online where zoners become massively annoying to deal with. As someone who mains Lucina and plays all the swordies, I had to pick up Hero because chasing an opponent who is constantly running is irritating and not fun.

Overall Ultimate is a great game, but competitively it gets to be slightly overrated IMO. Although most of us are casuals or online warriors so we can overlook these facts.
