Artists never get paid for a Superbowl performance but the massive exposure from doing the Superbowl halftime show supposed elevate your profile, status, and asking price x100. Not that this years performers need this but others have

NFL gettin over on ppl yet again. What else is new?:unimpressed:

And they can miss me with that "exposure" bullshyt:pachaha:

This is dre, em and snoop. They will ALWAYS have exposure.

NFL needs to book acts like jr writer for the exposure claim to make sense

This

Maybe they plan to use the SB to promote.

K.Dots last album on TDE, Snoops back on Death Row, maybe a new Em album and…

a Detox announcement?

Exactly these are well known award winning artists.
And someone like a damn near 50 yr old Eminen, really not the type to really need or exactly jumps at the chance at exposure.

This is basically them doing it for the fans at the end of the day.

Them parties gonna be insane in LA

the exposure argument is invalid because by the time you get to the level to perform at the super bowl (which is for the most part only broadcast in america), you're more than likely huge and/or growing.

but im personally not invested in :cape:for celebs.
Explain the jump in sales/streams and re-entry into the charts afterwards?. Even for legacy acts.

So you telling me MJ, the GOAT had to pay for that performance :gucci:

No.

he didnt pay. Super Bowl halftime show was :flabbynsick: before he did it so he was doing them a solid.

But he got a donation for his foundation and a free commercial that aired during the game, and I'm sure the commercial alone would've cost $$$ to air.

The same way songs become popular from Tik Toks and or challenges, Gen Zers aren't familiar with it like it and stream it. Or people who remember the song forgot about it and stream it. That Ocean Spray, skateboard man is a great example.

When I heard 'Dreams,' that's when I figured, 'OK, this is it,' " said Apodaca, a 37-year-old father of two. After the video took off, that 1977 hit single, "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac, catapulted back on the charts, tripling in sales. The band also reported its best week ever on streaming.
