curtis mayfield wasn't promoting drugs, his songs were about what's going on in the hood and basically saying that what's happening isn't a good thing. Are you young dudes this dense?

future is promoting the use of pills and lean. ti's like when you young dudes talk about, "NWA talked about drugs on dopeman". NWA never promoted drug use. They rhymed about the dope man and what the dope man does and how bad he is. They weren't rhyming in the 1st person pov of the dopeman and then portraying that same character in interviews(rick ross and others). No I don't like that nikka and for you to compare any of this current drug music to "pusha man", "king heroin", "public enemy" parts 1 and 2, which were clearly recorded to make people avoid drugs is borderline stupidity at the highest level. But hey, you're a Future fan. I blame myself for thinking too highly of you.

Respect. Although there are plenty of artist current day who both talk about the dope game in a glamorous way AS WELL as touch on it's downfalls. Future being one of them. "Paid for my mistakes like a drug deal" really listen to the music breh. Plenty of young cats talk about the pitfalls of the streets and the pain. You can do both

And what's crazy to me really at the end of the day Drugs are a part of HUMAN culture breh. Around the fuccin globe. shyt just blows my mind sometimes cuz from caffeine to crack there hardly a person on EARTH who doesn't consume a "drug" prescription or otherwise

It's fake outrage sometimes to the fullest

Future is one of my favorite artists of recent times but remaking such a classic, one of the best albums ever and it's a soundtrack, is just stupid.

let me break it down for you because it's obvious, your the one that doesn't listen to and examine lyrics.

In the 1st coupe of verses of Dopeman, Ice cube was talking about the dopeman and what they do in the community. He talked about how they get people strung out on drugs. He talked about girls getting hooked to dope and selling their body for it. there were mini skits along the way before Eazy came in RHYMING AS THE DOPE MAN FOR A FEW BARS AND HOW HE'S TERRORIZING THE BLACK NEIGHBORHOODS, with the dope he's selling(not he as Eazy E but the actually dope man in 3rd person). Then the song ends with krazy D doing a little riddle threatening the dope man's life if his sister dies due to his drugs. Did you see that song any different than millions of Amerikka did in the 80s and the way it was supposed to be portrayed?

so this song is basically saying, "don't do drugs. Drugs are bad". Is that the hidden mesage in this song?

Cool song selection breh

I said he speaks on BOTH topics

The use and the downfall of the use

But you chose that song to be an a$$hole and I get it, it's cool breh

Appreciate the chat dog
