I saw this today, I haven't seen the original, and I realize the genre, but this just looked embarrassing, cliched, just in poor taste all around.

At some point, you just don't want to see a bunch of actors and rappers glamorizing a lifestyle that doesn't even really exist, except in their songs and music videos.
