Art imitates life for Melissa Benoist. The "Supergirl" star is dating her co-star Chris Wood, Entertainment Tonight reports.
The couple was spotted Monday walking their dogs in Vancouver, where their hit CW show films.
The pair's chemistry has been playing on-screen as well, as Benoist's Kara and Woods' Mon-El grow closer.
"I'm a fan of Kara being happy," Benoist told ET when asked about the budding relationship.

Wood, meanwhile, had nothing but praise for his 28-year-old colleague.
"[Melissa and I have] found this nice pocket for the character to live in," he told the website. "It was just so easy to play and she's just so generous as an actress that she just keeps it rolling. She makes it easy."
This isn't the first time Benoist has dated a co-star; in 2015, she married Blake Jenner, who appeared alongside her on "Glee." The two divorced in December 2016.

Yeah, I wasn't really feeling this episode.
The Kara/Mon-El relationship has had a lot of false starts and it seems like they've barely been together and they are bickering over some nonsense. So when she broke up with him and it was supposed to be some emotional moment, it didn't land
Wynn helping his alien girl was alright, but I don't really care about that relationship either.
I am curious why the Music Meister wants Kara and Barry though

That was an awful lot of supposedly emotional scenes for a fukking microwave relationship.
Kara dumped James in 2 seconds with a smile on her face after spending an entire season falling in love with him but Mon-el lying to her is so heartbreaking?
Who writes this bullshyt?
And who's show is this any way? Supergirl has shown no actual growth as a character this season because all storylines have been focused on Mon-El becoming a "better man". The problem with that is we never knew the old Mon-el to give a damn about him changing into someone better.
Also why does Kara hang around DEO HQ in her civilian ID so much? So everybody and their mom knows she's Supergirl now?
Its like the people making these shows can only do one thing so Supergirl had to give up her secret identity, get fired from CatCo and just become a full-time loiterer at DEO HQ just like everyone on The Flash seems to live at Star Labs and all the Arrow people spend 99% of their time in the Arrow Cave.

This show has lacked subtlety since it started & it's still suffering from that same flaw going into the close of this season. The overt feminist tone deaf angles ( Feminism gets thrown around too liberally these days, no pun intended, but this show actually deserves the label), the main character is downright unlikeable the majority of the time, & just fukk all the romantic disasters they try to microwave.
They're using a machete on everything when some elements need a butter knife. It's a struggle to watch some of these hamfisted scenes.

That is odd since they barely used her this season and at times I even forgot she was on the show.
