For the sake of the show I hope so. They would have been better just cgi the whole red tornado thing, don't know if budget wise though it's feasible

I don't get the choices to go with the fabric look. I mean these people are well-paid designers on a network TV show yet they can't come up with a design that looks better than something you would see on Face-Off on the Syfy channel

Here is one of the things the Season 6 winner made one week:

Dude only had plastic, styrofoam and awesome painting skills and his robot looked better than this Red Tornado design does.
