DC TV Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg Fired Amid Multiple Sexual Harassment Allegations

Following multiple allegations of sexual harassment earlier this month, Andrew Kreisberg has been fired from his position as executive producer on the following DC TV superhero dramas: The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

The network has issued the following statement, addressing Kreisberg's termination and detailing how the four hit shows will move forward from here. “After a thorough investigation, Warner Bros. Television Group has terminated Andrew Kreisberg’s employment, effective immediately,” said the studio in a statement. “Greg Berlanti will assume additional responsibilities on both “The Flash,” where he will work closely with executive producer/co-showrunner Todd Helbing, and “Supergirl,” where he will work closely with executive producers/co-showrunners Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller. We remain committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees and everyone involved in our productions.”

Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, whose Berlanti Productions produce every DC TV show that airs on The CW released a separate statement, expressing their support for the victims. “Warner Bros. Television Group recently concluded its investigation into the allegations against Andrew Kreisberg. We encouraged and supported this investigation, we believe and support the individuals who came forward, and we agree with the studio’s decision. Nothing is more important to us than the safety and well-being of all our colleagues — coworkers, crew and staff alike.”

The allegations against Kreisberg first came to light at the beginning of the month and he was promptly suspended by Warner Bros. As of November 10, nineteen women and men have come forward with reports of being subjected to or witnessing incidents of inappropriate touching and endemic sexual harassment.

Yeah, the Reign/Supergirl beatdown was definitely the highlight of the episode.

The show's romantic drama continues to act as kryptonite though

Watching it now. I swear this soap opera shyt every 10min is making me sick. Literally can't go 10min without Kara almost crying. It's such a stereotypical chick show now. Which is kinda sad.
