How much ?![]()
Yeah, I actually agree with David on this. The whole "I'm human" stuff comes off kind of forced to me.Corrensweat might have been right on this scene![]()
I get that some people have an issue with Krypto but Krypto doesn't bother me. Krypto is an alien dog with superpowers.
Also, Batman has Ace the Bat-Hound helping him from time to time. Are these animal sidekicks a bit silly? Yes but so what?
Comic book superheroes are a bit silly by default![]()
You gonna have to just let it go fam. The new generation recognizes Superman was sent to take over the human race by his Aryan adjacent parentsYeah, I actually agree with David on this. The whole "I'm human" stuff comes off kind of forced to me.
Gunn's entire M.O. in the movie was to completely distance Superman from almost any part of his alien/Kryptonian heritage. Yes, I get that Superman was raised on Earth and he often thinks of himself as a human but saying it out loud sounds a bit... contrived. IDK, just my thoughts![]()

Nevermind pets. When you compare ot to the ammount of hep "The Batman" got,its not even close. But it doesnt get the same criticism from alot of people imo.
makes sense for Gunns vision where he wants the Justice League and others to feel needed in the movie. As opposed to the last Justice League movie, where OP Superman pulled up and mollywhopped Steppenwullf easily with a grin while the Justice League looked completely unnecessary.
Inflation is a terrible argument. It's based on the assumption that a movie in the past would have the same attendance if it was released today, and it doesn't account for the difference in theater release windows.
IT DIDNT DO BETTER THAN
EITHER FILM DOMESTICALLY
ITS JUST BENEFITING FROM INFLATION.

Significantly less people are going to the theaters today as opposed to 2013, when Man of Steel released. 2013 had 1,339,166,251 tickets sold, last year only 760,482,781 tickets have been sold. That is a drop of over 500,000,000 tickets sold.
Man of Steel had a three month (90 days) theatrical run, Superman has a 30 day theatrical run. There if you divide Man of Steel's adjusted for inflation box office of $877 Mil by 1/3 (since today it would have only been in theaters for a 1/3 of it's 2013 theatrical run) it would make 292 Mill, which is 294 Mil less than Superman's 586 Mil box office.
