It's weird seeing people complaining about Superman losing fights when:
If this is any indication of how his universe will be, I think we'll get the most comicbooky movies since Raimi.
He's fighting a clone of himself with Lex's mind. That's how he's lost a good number of his fights vs Lex since the 80s. He's also very routine in fighting, and at that point they've told you this was his first defeat, so there wouldn't even be a reason for him to attempt something different. But they did show that in the last fight where he had to get creative and adapt in order to beat them both.
Nah, this one was definitely made for the traditional Superman fans. While studios do want everyone to see, Gunn clearly felt there was a large enough comicbook audience to support these things to the point where he could be as accurate as possible.That's what im saying. This is a movie they want you to take the entire family to see.
