like how we didn't get an origin, gunn expects a certain base knowledge about who supes is and what kryptonians are.
like with cloning, gunn assumes we all know what that means (in 2025). [if he did that in the 1980's yeah he might need to but clone is a common movie trope these days].

Lex literally says in the interview with Michael Ian’s character that many humans deciphered the language.
You’re assuming things about what capabilities the character is and isn’t. That shows poor writing when it’s up to the audience to think of what is or isn’t. All it would have taken was simple dialogue or a quick scene explaining how they knew.
