I really enjoyed this filmed. This is by far the most grounded Superman that I’ve seen. The chemistry between Superman and Lois was really good! I liked the Justice Gang as well. Everyone did their thang! Lex was pretty ruthless but I’m expecting to see how gritty and cunning he will become. Oh, and the cameos hit really good! Had a good laugh of both of them.


Overall, I think this movie is a great start to Gunn’s vision of the DC Universe.

I think people mean he's weak in a more getting his ass kicked kinda way. I know. It was unfair. Lex had a clone. 2 on 1. Big monster.

I’m kind of wondering if Superman was holding back through this film. I think maybe it’s his way to stay a bit grounded and to not become a God so to speak. I can see him use his full power when absolutely necessary

Superman was literally fighting a clone of himself that was being assisted by cameras. If he was getting beat up by Lex himself, I could understand those complaints. Otherwise, nah.

He basically fought Hulk and Tony Stark at the same time,took an L and people calling him weak. Then he fought Hulk and lets say Ultron or Vision(nano chick) at the same time and people calling him weak


Forgive them,they just came from watching a mindless "Superman smash" version of the character. They will have to adjust their eyes and brains to understand the nuance in this Gunnaverse

Yup,being that they truly leaned into Lex being a genius,I do think they will lean into Batmans intelligence the same. Or at least i hope they do. I just want better tech,maybe a real Batwing

Im thinking they will take alot from the animated series as far as the portrayl. So im expecting to see the goat Superman,goat Batman and goat Joker by the time this universe is done. The options are limitless being that they wont be constrained by being "grounded in reality".

Can you guys stop saying this? Superman was NOT weak in the movie.

Also, if Superman just destroys every opponent (which is a major complaint that casual people have), then that would be boring. Also, what would be the point of other superheroes existing?

There would be no point in having Wonder Woman, Batman, the Green Lanterns, Flash, etc.

A lot of people loveeeee them some OP'ed-to-hell super heroes. No vulnerability. "Your dude has 9,000 power level? Well my dude has over 9 million power level so I win!" You know?

Most people with brains know that watching a movie of that gets boring real quick. Look at the hundredth stakesless building crash in the Snyderverse for evidence.

When a character finally let's loose, gets pissed, and/or works hard and for a brief moment hits their peak potential? That hits.

When the Flash is moving faster than light episode 1 with no effort? Boring.

We've seen that numerous times before lol (Superman vs General Zod).
