:ehh:
I wonder how many will now change their tune :jbhmm:

Well it depends on context and how it is portrayed, Snyder fans always attempting to engage in straw man arguments. We know from what Gunn has presented his Superman is vastly different from Snyders interpretation so situations will be highlighted differently. This Superman is out here saving squirrels and even wants to save a Kaiju. I don’t see him snapping necks anytime soon.

No one gives a shyt about your opinion either, son. Obviously you cared about mine since you took the time to quote me and go on about this for a few days. :mjlol:

Yeah kind of threw me off, especially Ma Kent who comes across as a little slow. Hoping for better interpretations of the character.
They're old and at least their personality fits their identity as farmers now.
I get homo-tional about my son just as much as Pa Kent does :mjcry:

:jbhmm: what's the tone from the Man of Steel scene? Wasn't it a last resort situation?

:mjlol:

In Snyder film he spends the entire movie giving zero fukks about all the mass death around him. Hell on some occasions he is the initiator of said death. How many people died alone from that gas explosion when he threw Zod into the Gas station. Not only that but while the building was crumbling and people were dying as highlighted by BVS he simply made zero effort to try and rescue even one person. Bare in mind we know people were in the buildings according to BVS meaning his super hearing was picking up all these deaths but he remained ever stoic and just continued slamming into Zod.

When a being like Superman fights collateral damage is bound to occur the difference is how he reacts in those situations and efforts made to minimise casualties and save as much people as possible. Then all of a sudden at the end of the movie we are to believe he gives a dam about a family of three? :heh: :heh::heh: Let’s be honest in a life and death situation and you had to pick one of the two Supermen to save your life if your honest with yourself everyone knows which of the two they would want to try and save them…and it’s the one that actually gives a fukk.

He cared about saving people and that his shown at the beginning and in the flashbacks.

By the time he is fighting the three kryptonians, you are looking at someone who is brand new fighting three military vets with the same powerset as him and who was one his ass and dictating the flow. In Superman (2025) you are looking at someone with three years experience.

Posted this in the Man of Steel thread and I think it does a good job of summing it up
This makes me think about a reddit post I saw recently

Again, SHOW IT. You’re assuming something when the movies are supposed to show/explain it. :beli:
Movies dont have to always show it .... why cant it generate discussions like we are having here.

ALSO ... this is ONLY ONE movie ... stuff will get flushed out. the fact metas have been around for 300 years means we have knowledge of stuff.
