Thats the same mistake they made last time. Rushing to get where the MCU was. MCU took its time and built up to it. DC tries to do the same thing in 2 or 3 movies,

How are they rushing?

Last time, DC made Batman vs Superman the 2nd movie in its universe. Justice League was the 5th movie, 4 years after they started.

The second movie in Gunn's universe is Supergirl which will be followed up by Clayface, an R rated body horror movie. That's the only other movie with a set release date.

No Batman has been cast.

No Wonder Woman has been cast.

Batman is going to be introduced in a Batfamily movie.

We've got a Green Lanterns TV show coming out that's going to continue to build on the Lantern stuff we briefly got to see in Superman.

Peacemaker season 2 is essentially a followup to Superman that will confirm what's canon or not from the old universe.

Jimmy Olsen is getting a show where he introduces DC villains.

Everything we've seen Gunn planning is this giant universe where major and minor characters can exist in their own fleshed out world with no need to have them all come together anytime soon.



This shyt took place a month after Man of Steel was released. Gunn's pace is nowhere near this.

I didn’t see your post but that is a fair point Gunn’s done that in films. GOTG the most obvious.

Other than how he acted during the interview with Lois, which was more defensive than anything, I don’t see how he was a baby.

What happened in 'Superman' is something that was cool but not exactly an original idea. We were dropped into the action and then some of the origin was explained throughout.

Anyone advocating for origins of well known comic books at this point I just gotta LOL. We all know the backstories.
