Just seen it and this is my thoughts exactly.
I’m a Snyder fan and Man of Steel will always be a favorite of mine for Superman movies. It was nice seeing my city as the backdrop for most of scenes.

I like the movie, well I like the characters in the movie. The overall plot of the movie felt like live action episode of the animated 90s show but overall it was an enjoyable movie. By no means perfect but a nice intro to Gunn’s vision of DC films going forward. Can’t wait for a Mr. Terrific movie.

I saw it tonight and loved it. Mister Terrific had a show-stealing scene and Guy Gardner is just as much of a loveable a$$hole as he is in the comics. **** killed it as Lex. Gunn really nailed down Superman as a character. Well done all-throughout.

The reason he was killed abruptly like that was because he had a scheduling issue and had to leave the show. As bad as it was for the character, it was the writers way of writing him off since he wasn't going to be in the show any more.I was so mad how he went out on Justified, fukk the stupid ass Crowe family

That was a lil weird too me to. However, I'm willing to cut that part some slack because in the natural human Flight or Fight response, there is a 3rd option that seldom gets mentioned. Freeze. Sometimes in fear, people just freeze and can't take their eyes off the danger. It is odd for so many to not try to evacuate tho.

I also believe the movie explained why they weren’t worried because they kept mentioning how there weren’t any casualties whenever he saved the day. Plus the citizens were real close to supes. I think they were just comfortable with the fact supes goes above and beyond to save them

I almost watched it back to back last night.
Gonna run it again right now.
Not as good as the batman.
Yet it is a good three star movie.
Had to take a star off.
For one sequence just being so cot damn insensitive and asinine.
Yet I still had to rate it high. As it got an emo response from me in that sequence tho.
That it was more care. Than my intelligence insulted.
I may have to re-watch batman begins.
As I don't remember much about that one.
To give it a ranking on the good DC movies.
This is a good DC movie.
Although I find quite a few DC things better.
Yet this movie does a real good job. Of closing any loose ends.
That could have made you question it.
Very good first outing.
Not as good as man of steel.
Plus Lois is ugly again.
Yet this is a good experience.
That ranks number three. In superman movies all time.
Behind the donner director cut of superman and man of steel.
It does a real good job. Of managing old DC goodie too shoes superman. With a superman we can all enjoy and root for.
Plus it brings back that feeling.
You had as a kid about superman.
Which was needed.
As the movie goes. You get used to the new superman.
To appreciate the new superman as well.
