That was crazy but there were other jarring aspects to those movies. How you have Superman state “no one stays good in this world” and claim he is the representation of hope. No matter how bleak shyt gets Superman would never say that. Then again this came from a man who talked about getting Batman ass fukked in prison.

The action sequences in MOS and edgier superman initially made me overlook some of the stupidest shıt in the movie.

I have reviewers remorse but will still hold MoS to my heart. I loved Cavill's version of Superman....but it's like comparing Hugh Jackmans Wolverine to it's comic and cartoon counterparts, it's great but not accurate.

If Marvel somehow got a 5'5 stocky, burly actor with an edge, and a director that hit the nail on the head with story, it would be a battle of who played the best wolverine.

I did not go in expecting that this superman would be better than Cavill's.

Luthor in this movie was the GOAT Luthor ever in live action. Only thing that brought it down for me were the humorous moments. Bro was a complete menace and actually beat Superman. If not for Supes having backup that would have been all that she wrote. Without the humour he would have been a top comic book movie villain.

Exactly. You can like both. It’s like enjoying different comic writers . Sometimes you need a kingdom come Superman sometimes you need an all star Superman . Both great stories . Everyone has a different head cannon of how Superman should be / act depending on when they were introduced to him . Superman is my favorite character but iv never just loved any of the movies because that’s not how Superman is in my head cannon . This movie is how he is supposed to act to me
