per people saying Superman was getting his ass beat

I’m kinda on the other side of that. I’ve never liked Superman as a character because he was tooo OP which made everything feel low stakes

The reason I even liked him here is because he actually felt vulnerable and not like some immovable unbeatable force. Also him getting his ass kicked is such a simplification. He literally imprisoned himself in a cell next to the only element that can kill him, to save a dog. It was more about his kindness being used to manipulate him than it was him getting his ass beat.. and when he was catching the hands, it was literally from his clone? Lol

Yeah, and it was the first time anyone beat him in 3 years of being Superman.

Also, once again (I guess I have to repeat this a billion times), he was blindsided by an opponent who was a match for him in strength.

A clone of himself being aided by the technology of a billionaire.

Floppies are about $4 or $5. I don't know if all comic stores do this, but mine will charge extra for alternate covers

That's probably before the Trump tariffs hit too. They are printed in Canada. Gunn could sell water to a whale. He bout to do an interlude on the next Clipse album

Yeah, his clone and kryptonite gave him that work. The same shyt that always fukks Superman up in any iteration. He wasn't having trouble at all with the kaiju and he could have killed The Engineer if he wanted to. She and the clone tag teamed him but he still won.

Its the fact the best story they came up with was to have the dog save bis ass likeover snd over

They ran it into the ground

Finally saw this.

I think I like it just as much as I liked MOS.

The difference is that I have interest in watching this again whereas I didn’t have an interest in watching MOS again.

Definitely camp but that's okay, just didn't like him catching the work for a majority of the movie.
