You would have to purposely ignore context & ignore a director that CLEARLY went out of his way to add depth to an overpowered character, to say it.

and we all know those same people would say "there were no stakes...superman just showed up and beat up everyone, shyt was boring asf. At least Cavill blah blah blah"

This Superman legitimately got forcefully suffocated WHILE tanking hits flying through the atmosphere. Mans was in a lake of anti matter shyt that vaporizes everything while saving a fukking baby. This is all AFTER being exposed to kryptonite damn near a whole day. BR landed on basically an island that was made of Kryptonite.

After he got his ass whooped with his power gone he was prison shanked STABBED IN THE KIDNEY with a sharp shard of KNite


But then willed himself to power through that and pick up an island bigger than Sokovia from Avengers 2 and threw that bytch off the PLANET!

BR lift an island the size of Delaware with a shard of Kryptonite in him… or at minimum Rhode Island

Also, once again (I guess I have to repeat this a billion times), he was blindsided by an opponent who was a match for him in strength.
