:patrice:Depends on who you're classifying as a SF:

LeBron
Durant
Kawhi
Giannis (could be a PF depending on Parker)
Jimmy (Wiggins is a 2)
George
Hayward

He's definitely right there with Jimmy and George although he's never been at their level defensively (not that it matters, the coli disregards defense). We'll see what Stevens does for his offense.
He's a pretty good defender

Hayward had a good year this year and now he's around PG and Jimmy level. Isaiah had the 2nd best offebsive season for a pg ever and people still say he's<kyrie. Doesn't make sense.

Hayward is not on George or Butler's level. I don't see him going toe to toe with LeBron like how George and Butler did in the playoffs nor do I see him have the ability to consistently put the team on his back. Heck the only time he's ever scored 40 was this years playoffs

I'd rate him similar to how I'd rate a Paul Millsap. Very good player that can be a great complimentary piece but won't find much success as the main guy

He already plays like one, the only thing holding his numbers back was the pace of the system in which he played in.
If PG and Jimmy are considered superstars then Hayward is definitely one already.

To me superstars are the likes of Harden, Russ, Kawhi, KD, Lebron, etc, so we'd hate to wait and see :yeshrug:
I agree

Hayward can hoop

Of course, Hayward's going to get love. He's a white all-star player. But everybody knows he ain't Larry Bird. He ain't even a Kevin McHale. Not even a Bob Cousy. He'll probably improve under Stevens' system (given their history) but nobody will be pushing Hayward as a superstar.

If yesterday's introductory press conference was any indicator, Kyrie is the franchise's marquee player. He's the best player on the team. He's a perennial all-star with the most championship experience (and a ring). Even during the press conference (where Hayward was also present), Kyrie was receiving the majority of questions and was being asked about putting the team on his back as the franchise player.

FYI, Kyrie's dad played college ball at Boston University and wore #11, which will be Kyrie's number on the Cs.

Millsap has been a consistent top 20-25 player though. You sort of want those on your team and damn well want them as complimentary pieces as they can excel without scoring.

When did Jimmy Butler go toe-to-toe with LeBron in the playoffs? Or George even?
