Yup he partly funded 36 Chambers. It's all in Rza's books. This is why I laugh when casuals say the Wu fell of because of fighting, Rza and Ghost been fighting since Protect Ya Neck.

"not long is how long that this rhyme took me...so there it is yo fukk it" was Ghost talking to Rza because Rza forced him into the booth to get his verse done on time or some shyt like that.

That's why Rza comes in right after with "chill with the feedback black we don't need that"

Yep. Some of the Clan were busting guns at each other growing up. Rae has said several times that he never fvcked with Ghost when they were school kids because his hood (Park Hill) looked at him like he was a crook. RZA was that common denominator that got all these dudes together and rock out.

They were livingtogether for years before 36 chambers and Ghost has a kid by Rza sister so they're literally related now.

My seeds, grow with his seeds, marry his seeds...that's how we keep Wu-tang money, all up in the family :jawalrus:

I think it's the other way around, dudes thought they were bigger than Rza. He gave them ALL the shine and niccaz still aggy they had to wait in line for Rza beats.

Dude is a doper MC himself than half the group so it's amazing what he gave them.

Rae my nikka but he's the epitome of that shyt, he talks about Rza like we haven't heard the albums he made without Rza's involvement :scust:(except for Shaolin vs Wu)
if Im not mistaken tho didn't RZA take a step back after Forever and they were mad at him for not working with them as much?

Wu could never come together like that in the social media age. It's social media that ruined the last few albums, nikkaz taking comments out of context and journalists riling them up against each other etc.

Rza had these dudes battling each other for slots in the 90's (origin of Mef vs Chef), can you imagine these modern dudes being asked to do that shyt?

I always wondered how this album sounded before rza remixed it. I mean from what I've read, RZA took each beat and remixed them shyts and still gave producer credit to the original beat maker. Incredible.

It would have probably sound a bit out of place for Wu standards. That's the thing with RZA, dude knows how to set the tone for a album. Out of all the Wu albums I have heard with RZA involved, each one has a certain element to make the listener know that it's a Wu album. The intro, skits flowing with some tracks, and a close out track that actually feels like the credits are rolling. I appreciate what the dude did for OB4CL with that North Star close out track:to:.

The dude had a dead hustler talking to Rae and Ghost :ooh:. fukking phenomenal track I swear...

7. The Canadian version of the album contains a song called “Wise (In The Rain).”
The song was dedicated to a friend of Ghost’s who was killed, Wise Allah. It was basically a straight loop of “In The Rain” by The Dramatics, so the sample wasn’t cleared for the U.S. version.

They also tried doing a remake of the beat w/ Stevie J but that didn't go through. Think it only ended up on a Green Lantern mixtape.

8. Epic wanted Ghost to add two more verses to “Cherchez La Ghost.”
At the beginning of this 2000 Vibe piece, Ghost seems to be writing two verses the label asked to tack onto the end of “Cherchez La Ghost,” the second single they wanted to push after the lead single, “Apollo Kids.” That version never came out.

It did come out, both on the original beat and on this remix:

I know what you mean. The RZA, Dre, and Erick Sermon all switched their styles up. When we got blessed with Alchemist, Kanye, and Just Blaze tho:lawd:

Which you wouldn't have gotten without Supreme Clientele:

"Really we were making all those beats for Ghostface. Me and Just love Ghostface so much, that's Hip-Hop's (Roc-a-fella executive) favorite rapper and one of my favorite rappers, so we were trying to make all these beats for Ghostface but just so happens we're at Roc-a-fella and Jay heard them and rapped on them. We were making all these beats for Ghostface because we get so inspired by his albums. He was the only dude coming out with something worthwhile with Supreme Clientele. I feel like I got my whole style from Ghostface. Listen to what I'm saying, I need that in print, I feel like I got my whole style from Ghostface. My whole mentality about Hip-hop. He really took it to the next level."- Kanye
