Talking about all they did was allow ppl to racially profile until they go to trial
Since yall crazy asses didn't bother to read the article and clearly don't know that racial profiling of Black people, specifically Black men has always been allowed then I will give you two cases to read: Terry v. Ohio that came out in 1968 and Whren v. United States that came out in 1996. Those were cases involving Black men who were stopped by plain clothes police officers. In the Terry case the Court authorized police officers to stop and frisk Black men if they had a "reasonable suspicion" of the Black men having done something, not "probable cause" just reasonable suspicion. In Whren the Court authorized stops of Black men if the officers had an "objective basis" for the stop. The primary reason a cop stops a Black man (race) is irrelevant so long as the cop has a pretext (traffic violation) for the stop.
So there has never been a time in this country where Black men were not racially profiled, but y'all confused ass dudes up in here complaining about the Courts allowing other groups to be racially profiled. When and where did those other groups become outraged that Black men were legally allowed to be racially profiled?
