You aren't guaranteed to ever win a lawsuit but now you wont even be able to bring a claim since the supreme court are saying racially profiling does not violate your rights.

Your right to sue was typically only against municipalities that had the cops as employees, even then you had a high burden of proof. Qualified immunity typically prevented cops from suffering any consequences as a result of the action which means that racial profiling only continued.

Because the article clearly stated that Supreme Court only removed a temporary restraining order of the District Court Judge that bared ICE Agents from making stops of illegal immigrants based up reasonable suspicion. That reasonable suspicion being language, ethnic group, etc.

No rights for your dumb ass were taken away, because if you are Black you never had them anyway. That shyt about claims is not in the article or the decision. That shyt about claims was a separate discussion that @RamsayBolton posted, but it was regarding different separate cases that have nothing to do with case the court heard.

I was responding to one poster who speculates what will happen, but none of what we discussed was actually in the article. It was just a poster speculating about what might happen.

What. The SCOTUS decision is a direct response to a lower court declaring ICE activity as unconstitutional because it involved racial profiling. SCOTUS literally said we can't call it unconstitutional because they did not rely on racial profiling alone. That statement alone opens the for legal racial profiling, feds just have to hide it between other bullshyt profiling...especially this was a half ass decision. And that's what this SCOTUS keeps doing for Trump. They refuse to make a decision on standing precedent and chip away little by little on them.

Read the article again. All that the Supreme Court did was remove a Temporary Restraining Order that the District Court Judge imposed against ICE. The article literally then says:

"The 6-3 decision of the conservative-majority court allows agents to stop suspects based solely on their race, language or job, while a legal challenge to the recent immigration sweeps in LA works its way through the courts."

All that happened was that ICE was allowed to continue racial profiling until a trial on the issue, which presumably might go through the appellate process up to possibly thethe Supreme Court. All of the other stuff in this thread is because posters did not read the article. Think about that for a minute. There hasn't even been a trial on the issue yet, but scary ass dudes that didn't even read the article are all up in this thread talmbout "massa goan be mad at us now fo sho."
