I can swim, ski and snowboard so I thought it’d be cake....
One of the most humbling experiences of my life. Literally bust my ass for two hours straight in front of a full beach
went back the next week and it was a lot better. Timing the wave and your pop up is the key, after that you’re good because the confidence level is there. Beautiful, zen like experience once you start to feel more comfortable on the board.
Definitely give it a shot if you’re comfortable in the water.

This is what I want. I always wanted to learned how to surf because I love to swim and be in the water but when I watched this movie Magnetic, I became even more inspired. If you have netflix you can see it. They go to Tahiti and film surfing there too.
