I see and hear much more discussion and debate about the criticism of Cam Newton than I hear ACTUAL criticism of Cam Newton. Where are all these critics? Like yeah some whiny white lady wrote a letter to the editor of her newspaper or whatever. But can anyone link me to stories/columns/etc of people criticizing Cam? I googled "Criticizing Cam Newton" and literally the entire first page of results is people discussing why he is criticized. Not one link actually criticizing him. Help. I want to read the criticisms too

It doesn't just start in a almost undefeated season breh.. It starts when for simply being athletic, those that would want to make the cac prototype of a qb stick and try and convert bul to tight end.. Then it continues with thousands of people being upset when ur actually found not guilty in an ncaa probe.. Then it morphs to cac commentators making statements about ur smile, and how that will play out on the field.. Then, no matter the best ever type stats you've put up, there are multiple stories from ur hometown newspaper with criticism we don't normally see of a record breaking qb, and talk radio is lit with ur so called fan base, asking if a career cac bum playing behind you is the better option.. Again, the bullshyt is being suppressed by undeniable greatness...

Talk to people...I have a few co-workers who ignore JJ Watt/Aaron Rodgers celebrations but criticize Cam Newton.

the criticism of cam's showmanship is fueled by him being black...stop. gronk, arod, brady, whoever do the same and it's all jokes, cam does it and the media had/comment sections/social media had a melt down for a week. the fact is black people don't have the same leeway, it is what it is.

The criticism that people are talking about is more from the general public than writers/columnists. There have been numerous letters written in to the Charlotte newspaper complaining about dude. He's been heavily criticized for having a child out of wedlock. Criticism that Tom Brady didn't get. Did you miss the back n forth that Shannon Sharpe had with a fan? Obviously the criticisms exist hence the slight difference in what whites and blacks feel is the cause of the criticism. You clearly aren't paying attention.

As far as the poll, no shyt? Whites will deny racism until they're blue in the face. You've even got a good percentage of blacks who will do the same. That's why it made no sense for Cam to bytch up and moonwalk from what he originally said about race and how he's perceived. He's basically help strengthen the argument/position of the racists who are hating on him. So I say Maybe Cam and whites are right in saying that it's not about race. Maybe Cam just needs to know his place better.
