I see and hear much more discussion and debate about the criticism of Cam Newton than I hear ACTUAL criticism of Cam Newton. Where are all these critics? Like yeah some whiny white lady wrote a letter to the editor of her newspaper or whatever. But can anyone link me to stories/columns/etc of people criticizing Cam? I googled "Criticizing Cam Newton" and literally the entire first page of results is people discussing why he is criticized. Not one link actually criticizing him. Help. I want to read the criticisms too

Aside from twitter and blogs, there aren't anyone championing it that I'm aware of.

At the end of the day we have a situation where a black QB is potentially going to be the face of the league and will win the MVP. Who at the same time may win the super bowl and MVP. Just from an accomplishment of that you can look at him as the best QB in the league.

Because one great year doesn't make you the best qb already. You need longevity and to do it year after year

I'm not talking about career though just this season and Cam was the best QB this season. If someone said overall then you'd have a point.

The NFL is a "what have you done for me lately?" league though. It's hard to argue that the league MVP isn't the best QB right now. If you're voting for the hall of fame or something, then you have a point
