Some of this has to do with language barriers. A lot of Latinos think "Hispanic " means illegal. So when they have to check a box they pick anything but that.
I think the survey has a typo. I think the survey was supposed to say "How do US Hispanics identify" rather than "How do US Afro-Latinos identify".
That aside, fukk Mexicans (who likely are the ones saying they're white).
So what? Why are some of you so determined to make people claim they're black? Most of these "afro-latinos" are mixed. I mean its one thing if you're latino and black as fukk saying you're white, but a lot of these "afro latinos" are so mixed up that saying they're black is just as wrong as saying they're white. Its also important to remember that the one drop rule doesn't exist in South America.
this is confusing, it says 24% of Latinos in the US identify as Afro-Latino, but only 18% of Afro-Latinos identify as being black?
Wait is this is confusing. If they KNOW they are Afro-Latino then how can they identify as white?![]()
People forget the african slave trade and slavery was more vicious in latin america than it was in north america...This is why I don't cape for latinos...they hate black people more, today, than most european countries.
shyt is embarrassing.
If you relied on media, you'd think there were no afro-latinos.
Happy to be conquered, colonized, enslaved, raped, and whhatever....to atleast look white.Completely illogical.
No sense of self, no history...
I only roll with the real gods & earths tho![]()
I also find it hard to believe that 24% of Latinos in the US identify as Afro Latino, even if everyone accurately identified it would be nowhere near that highYeah, I think if they used "negro" "pardo" etc the survey would look different.
MariconI was here before you kiss my ass.
