I was just about to say the same thing. They wait till the last episode to throw their credibility away by having , of all people, Charlamagne, giving his 2 cents. The credibility of this whole series is now a joke. They might as well have had Bill Cosby give his 2 cents as well.

The whole thing was a big Twitter personality circle jerk (pause). She says the allegations about Charlamagne came after this interview and she had no idea about his tweets (“R. Kelly has the best celebrity sex tape of all time” etc), but that’s no excuse.

Black feminists use Charlamagne for his platforms and connections, and he uses them to try and mask his own issues with sexual abuse of black women. This time it backfired for everyone.

The content and women were compelling and it was worth the watch, I just don’t think it was that well done at the end of the day. There were a lot of questions that weren’t asked imo. Looking forward to the Hulu doc coming with Jim Derogatis, that should be a deeper dive.

As far as him not being locked up, he had a trial over the piss tape but the parents of the girl did not cooperate so the jurors acquitted him on the basis that they couldnt confirm the age of the girl on the tape. He also had the case in Florida where they got a bunch of child pornography but they dropped it because the judge determined it was illegal for them to search in the area where they found the tapes.

I'm from Chicago, I remember them saying he picked up high school girls from the Rock N Roll McDonalds all the time. It wasnt a secret he was a foul nikka but I guess you're not seen as pedo if the girl is a teenager opposed to a 6yr old. Maybe thats why it was frowned upon but overlooked. Im glad they aired this. My point is u sound unrealistic.... this show wont change shyt. People still gonna wanna work with Kellz and gurlz are going to still fukk him.
