The whole thing was a big Twitter personality circle jerk (pause). She says the allegations about Charlamagne came after this interview and she had no idea about his tweets (“R. Kelly has the best celebrity sex tape of all time” etc), but that’s no excuse.I was just about to say the same thing. They wait till the last episode to throw their credibility away by having , of all people, Charlamagne, giving his 2 cents. The credibility of this whole series is now a joke. They might as well have had Bill Cosby give his 2 cents as well.
Black feminists use Charlamagne for his platforms and connections, and he uses them to try and mask his own issues with sexual abuse of black women. This time it backfired for everyone.
The content and women were compelling and it was worth the watch, I just don’t think it was that well done at the end of the day. There were a lot of questions that weren’t asked imo. Looking forward to the Hulu doc coming with Jim Derogatis, that should be a deeper dive.
