The gunman who killed more than two dozen people in a small church outside San Antonio on Sunday had a string of troubling episodes in recent years, including an escape from a mental health facility in 2012 after he was caught sneaking guns onto an Air Force base “attempting to carry out death threats” against military superiors, according to a police report.

The only thing left to do for normal people in this country is to be vigilant. While elections can change some policies, regarding civil rights , health/drugs, and economics, the NRA will always win the gun debate. Their money and lobbyists are too ingrained in the Republican Party, actually in American culture, and we have come to a point that there really is nothing to be done about it. As long as there are people that feel it is their god given right to have any kind of gun they want, regardless of their mental state, it's a losing battle.

They why pass bills to make it easier for folks with history of mental illness to access guns? Why does it matter? Why pretend it matters? Whatever rhetoric is presented, the line is drawn in the sand. Any logical discussion is shut down by complete fukking morons screaming "muh guns". It's far past the point of any debate, whatever anyone says will not matter, you republicans and libertarians need to protect yourselves from SJW's, Antifa, and BLM, and you need bump stocks and AR-15's to do so.
