you could post videos of cyphers..... from every region for days....cause we all know people from every region can freestyle.

the fact remains, is that only NYC/East Coast rappers are expected to know how to freestyle..... but you know, nikkas can't read and think i said nobody else from any other region knows how to/can freestyle.

a rapper is not a rapper unless they can freestyle. another reason why hip hop is weak as fukk i keep tellin yall the shyt goin on is pop music, not hip hop.

this shyt is so dumb. some of the best MCs ever, from every coast, can't rap for shyt off the top of their heads, and most of the awe inspiring freestyles you do hear are just written and memorized.

The days of watching a rapper go in the booth to 'freestyle' with Tigger or pop up on Flex's show are so long gone. Yeah, I guess bigger picture wise spitting a freestyle on Sway's show does nothing, but who knows what a few good bars and a punchline will do, could go viral and bring a little buzz the fact that they didn't even prepare for that something like that to come up is what is really wrong with today's artists.
