I live in Japan half the year. No tipping required unless I’m on base.

Here in Atlanta. I tip at least 10% every time. Good service gets 15%. It sucks but it is what it is. I’ve worked in the industry for two months as a summer job. The waitresses didn’t tip out to the dish washers though.
