Wow, close vote. I went back and forth on this and ended up voting for Jay just off consistency and relevance. Not mad at a Scarface victory tho!

funny because before chris rock started dikk riding jay, he said jay took scarfaces style and gave it a ny feel. i know that not a perfect comparison but you can see a lot of brad in jay. the interior thoughts etc. this was close for me, but jays recent fall off, and biting of other lyrics on a silly scale, made me vote brad. it was close though. 2004 would have voted jay easily, probably over any mc u put him up against but the fall been terrible.

plus, scarface is possible the best songwriter in rap ever.

i was moreso referring to his antics and the sucker moves hes been pulling throughout the years. he brought the hate on himself. dude is like the triple h of hip-hop.

but yea, all this trash music thats been at the forefront courtesy of him for nearly a decade now, thats a bad look too.

and jay's stans on this site certainly dont help matters.

face has only been destroyed on the mic...once and it was by willie d''s replacement for an entire album...

jay z seemed to fabricate things...u can go ask some of face enemies about em...n they will keep it 100..n say pretty much everything i have said on here when it came to face..

the whole grandmother raised em..she was worried about him, because he was mental...tried killin himself more than once..then he was introduced to fry..and got worse...how my minds playin tricks on me is a song 3 different reactions to smokin it..

Jay Z is in my Top 3

Scarface in my top 10

Both solid emcees with long careers ..but JayZ was more versatile IMO and was able to connect with the street and mainstream over the course of his career better than any other emcee outside of BIG & Pac

jay did that better than biggie.
