Also, DMX's live show >>>> Nas's live show. That counts for something as well.

its just not your cup of tea breh. it goes back to that apples-n-oranges comment.

as far as nas goes, he may have some personal classics to you. he definitely has some borderline classics. but he only has the ONE undisputed classic album.[/QUOTE

I've seen Nas and DMX live multiple times and Nas has surpassed him as a live performer the past decade. Nas has gotten his live show to be much tighter post-God Son. DJ Green Lantern as his DJ helps and having a live band/working with Damian.
X on the other hand has had crack make him far more sloppy

:scusthov: @ nas being mentioned in the same breath as even a broken-down dmx in terms of live performance.

the irony of a nas fanatic trying to call someone else out-of-touch.

Guess we'll have to dig through that "make a subject like Wacky D" thread to find find something more :lolbron:

Seriously though, you saw that VH1 Behind the Music of X as a mess at that club in Arizona and you've seen the praise Nas has gotten for his recent tours (distant relatives, Life is Good, Illmatic 20th anniversay) How anyone can say otherwise would be too ignore what's out there:yeshrug:

honestly i dont follow either one of them anymore. theres nothing either of them can do at this point to improve or lower their ranking in any aspect.

i was just taken back by the fact that you tried to pull the "youre out of touch" card while talking about two :flabbynsick: rappers in their 40s.

i could care less about critical acclaim and all that. the nas stuff ive seen is cool and all but nothing spectacular or worth writing home about. lol. youre going on about all these nas tours, meanwhile youre judging DMX off of just a random video where he was probably ON.

That was your rebuttal?:russ:
You need merely look at the Life is Good run to see why Nas is one of the few 40 year old rappers people check for. X's random video is all we got in terms of demand, while Nas been more in demand for live shows:blessed:
