I wonder how much better the build for Dynasty could have been if not for bad weather fukking it up for two of the four weeks.
The Omaha taping was fukked by weather and that was both a Dynamite and Collision taping. This week’s taping was fukked by weather and it too ended up being a Dynamite and Collision taping.

I see fans already complaining especially about the tourney match. How dare they put a first round match on a ppv when BD literally beat Shingo at FD last year to start the tourney. Fletcher and Briscoe had a great match in the CC last year and I think they had another one after that was also pretty good. 2-1 advantage so expect Fletcher to even the odds. Of course I saw comment on how its predictable and Briscoe expected to lose but you put a bigger star there and have them lose to Fletcher and the complaints would still come in saying someone got buried or deserves better.
Not sure what else is left but last year was a 9 match card and that was main not including any preshow. Think we reached 9 already so not likely more is added unless its zero hour.

Ducktales Dave reporting it was originally supposed to be Ospreay vs. Switchblade for the first round of the Owen at Dynasty.

It’s wild that Ospreay vs. Jay White was the original plan when the other two known Owen matchups are Takeshyta vs. Brody and Fletcher vs. Briscoe - two future main event era vs. featured losers.
Ospreay vs. Switch is a PPV main event for the AEW title level matchup. The other two are B show PPV matchups for a midcard title.
I just don't see what y'all see with Jay White. I know he can have good matches, but he just doesn't have THAT presence.
Passed last years event. Looks like they opened up about 500 more seats too. Lot of them prolly the $22 ones. They did 324 and 376 last two updates so decent chance lot of the now open seats are filled by the start. They could just open the other rows on top anyways since it won't have an effect on things if they don't sell.
