I'm not sure what it is that makes people rule out a Crash game isn't coming.
If World of Final Fantasy and FFVII Remaster for PS4 leaked before FFVII Remake was announced, people would've looked dumb thinking that meant there wasn't anything else in the works. In that case it was worse seeing as to how FFVII wasn't mentioned until E3 a few months later.

Trash Bandiflop's release date was leaked a couple of days ago on a finish retailer known as VPD.fi.
The listing was discovered on Reddit and mentioned that the game will release on February 28th, 2017.
At the time it was unclear whether or not this was a placeholder date for the retailer, but we highly-suspected it would be because it was also got the same date as PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn.
As mentioned previously, it's not unheard of for games to release on the same date or be delayed to increase the anticipation of the greatness that awaits, and while the game is third-party through Activision, we would anticipate that Sony wouldn't want such a prestigious title launching on the same day as their newest IP.
Now though a second retailer listing has been spotted, this time from Ziliongames, a Brazilian retailer who also appears to carry the same February 28th, 2017 release date.
