I asked my oldest son if he wanted one as a Final high school graduation gift and that nikka gave me the and proceeded to give me all the reasons he like

- something about the proprietary cord and how using a non Nintendo cord will Brick your shyt and costs 200 to fix
- online system still janky
- always online DRM
- way overpriced
- games ain't there
- screen worse than his OG switch (Questioned why not OLED at that price)
- not a big Mario Kart fan
- Joycons having stick drift out the box

nikka had me like and he's been a big Nintendo guy all his life so far. Did get him a gaming laptop 3 Christmases ago so he's more into Steam and console

Said he's buying a steamdeck instead

Even he tired of Nintendo's shenanigans

Was just about to say that it's because the Nintendo switch 2 roll out is what it looks when it's organic.

Online the system is trash and no one wants it, IRL people are dropping 500 like it's no big deal.


What's going to happen is Nintendo is gonna drop a banger for the holiday season and of course around that time there will be a actual shortage of consoles.


The switch 2 is currently more of a upgrade for users with a switch 1 and people that don't want to worry about having to try to snag one later especially with the potential of price increases at any point with how things going in the economy.

fukkin Yokosuka and BAHRAIN got them? I'm out in Korea, we were told they wouldn't be here til December, so I preordered one and had it shipped to my fam in the US..and now Korea gets them next week..what a mess. BX is just a hodgepodge most of the time.
