Numbers do lie sometimes. Streets really haven't been buzzing about this like the Switch 1. I bought one and proceeded to return it several days later. I can't imagine how many people just have it collecting dust in their house.

The console still has to have a considerable amount of demand regardless of stock to sell over 20 million units in less than a a year

Sure it might not be switch 1 levels of popularity... but the switch 1 is literally 3rd biggest selling console ever and may even finish as the best selling ever if it has good legs the next 2-3 years at a discounted price

It seems like yall are arguing a completely different point than the one @winb83 made. He didn’t say anything about the switch 2 not being popular.

He was just pointing out that the switch sold faster than other consoles because Nintendo didn't have to deal with chip shortages and distribution issues like when the ps5 and Xbox launched.

Ps5 could've definitely sold over 20 million in a year if Sony could produce that many units.
