I think a lot of you don't realize what DLSS is. If the switch pro is actually DLSS capable it could compete with ps5 not just ps4.

Whatever is gonna be in the Switch isn't gonna be close to a RTX 2060. It's not competing with a PS5. DLSS is great but it can only do so much. I wouldn't expect more than current Switch-graphic fidelity with a higher resolution/more stable framerates.

It would prob be best if they made it 349.99 and finally lowered the price of the OG switch to 199.99 or even 249.99

I think (hope) that's what is going to happen. $349, $249, $149 for Pro, OG, Lite. Big enough gap where one shouldn't cannibalize the other's sales

nintenDON’T do shyt like that

Nintendo has never had a mid gen refresh either. The only evidence we have of it is their handhelds and they usually drop the price of their previous model instead of making the new model more expensive.

A nintendo product has never been 400 dollars

DLSS 2.0 probably a big reason why the Nvidia 3000 series chips are quite a bit better than AMD right now. Low key wished the PS5/XSX launched a year later with some DLSS capabilities.

If the switch pro chip actually does have DLSS capabilities, I think that would be pretty huge.

The thing is I'm sure Nvidia would want to put DLSS 2.0 on Tegra chip and ship it on the new switch, but Nintendo is so cheap, I'm not sure if I really believe this story.

The biggest problem is battery life. The thing still has to be able to be portable at the end of the day, which is what ultimately bottlenecks it.
