blow the whistle? really?:noah:

why call out juelz? he destroys e-40.

e-40 is non-existent up here, whether it be radio or albums. i never heard a peep from him when i was living down south either.

some of those are the click's singles, some of the others range from average to wack.

you might want to post some early e-40 singles or something. that might help.

i know he aint far from the list and thats off the strength of joints like "thing'll never change", the sir mix-a-lot remake, etc.

5his is just getting offensive now,a slap in the face really...yes blow the whistle is a pretty big deal for a nikka to drop that after 20 yrs,u still ain't showed where Luke been relevant multiple eras like u said unless u mean his reality show,I proved mines....and he aint had better singles than Short, what he got that's better than "The Ghetto":childplease:? And I'm countin Freaky Tales as a single too....blow the whistle more of a classic in clubs and strip clubs than that damn whistle song juelz put out:laff:

And I'm singling Juelz out becuz of how ridiculous it is that he can be on this list and e40 aint:laff:...he kills e40 in terms of what?oh we talkin bout lyrics now?I know u ain't talkin about them ol regional azz hits that nikka had tryna play 40's....if u countin Nolia Clap as a single I see no reason Click singles can't be included...but even without that the singles of Thingsll Never Change,Sprinkle Me,1 Luv all charted respectbly and are considered classic to this day on the west and in the south....who still talkin bout Juelz Santannas singles?then u got U And Dat,Tell Me When To Go and now Function....my nikka wuz still goin gold up until 2008 off these singles and no singles at all matter fact....u have no valid reason to have Luke and Juelz on the list and not 40 or Short...couple other names too but those the two I picked out cuz only 2 spots is neccesary to make this right.

:whoa: Now u should do the right thing and change the list, since I don't have the power to edit it myself,yet:mjpls:....but its your list I think I proved my point:manny:...right now the onlookers is lookin like ":ohhh:damn Notsoft right, this list lookin kinda funny now".....your a man of reason, make the right move:mjpls:

- im pretty sure that too short is on the list.

- doo doo brown >>>> any too short single

- ive never heard that too short whistle song anywhere but mtv jams.

- the juelz santana whistle song was hot garbage and he prolly fell lower on my list because of it. dont see the point in arguing about that one.

- i lived down south. i never once heard e-40's name mentioned down there but they got luv for juelz santana down there.

- the difference between "nolia clap" and the click singles is that the click is a group and theres a seperate list for that. UTP was more of a compilation album so i gave juvi partial credit for that. not full credit but partial credit.

- again, drop some e-40 singles that i may not have heard or may have forgotten about. the list can be revised.

UTP is a group and if they gon rap as a group it should be a group single, but that's neithere here nor there....I don't know what young bucks you wuz hangin around with down south but ask the old nikkas, ask the og's.....every legend in texas and master p who you luv will tell u...40 name ring bells in the south, nikka a legend down there....juelz ain't a legend nowhere and I wuz a big fan and owned his first 2 albums but stop it:wtb:

You ever heard of the Southwest Ridahz album that 40 and Blegit put out?there's a reason that shyt wuz in demand and had to be made....40 wuz a staple on southern hiphop features...nikkaz probaly know juelz as lil waynes friend....matter of fact Blegit got better singles then Juelz:laff:

Ghetto Smile,In Your City,Check It Out all classics.

But its all good I named all the singles I needed to name, you've proved nuthing to defend your stance as to how juelz is on the list over e40...if Short is on the list my complaint mustve been he wuz too low,I don't remember now.....but its your list ill just have to put the asterisk* on it and respectfully not respect this list in its entirity.:salute:

too short is ranked 51. if you can provide reason for him to jump higher, then please do. i have no problem editing the list. i just moved chubb rock up a spot.

UTP was the label. wacko & skip were juvi's artists. thats not a group.

:childplease: i mostly ran with oldheads homie. never heard e-40's name mentioned. im sure he has his fans down there but its not that serious with him. nowhere near. i think the term "well-liked" is more appopriate than "a legend down there".

just because you collaborate with rappers from a certain place, doesnt mean that youre a legend where theyre from. hell, rappers have done stuff with rappers from cities where they didnt even have a buzz in.

lol. is sohh working again? i remember that thread where there was some birdman interview. the part where he said he did songs with e-40 cuz hes legendary in new orleans. some poster from new orleans read that chit and said something like 'i aint never even met an e-40 fan down here'.

now as far as juelz goes.............:comeon::comeon::comeon:

I had the mixtape when Buck wuz still in the group that came with skips solo cd,they wuz rappin as a group then, and I had the From The Begging to End cd that had Nolia clap I bought and I'm pretty sure they rapped as a group the entire album, but I gotta go back and find it and listen again.

Nah he is a legend down there and nikkas in the know know....the bucks who don't know need to ask nikkas who they revre as legends,ugk,8ball mjg, master p,jeezy, baby they'll tell em...he put in work in the south.......I gave my reason for short to be moved into Lukes response, and got a no response as to how Luke has been relevant in muliple eras musically after I proved mines.

I listed all the classic e40 singles that charted decent and that are considered classics....u respond by posting every single Juelz ever put out as if all them shyts are considered classics or still get played today:snoop:......I prove E40 has dropped relevent singles in MULTIPLE eras which apparently is part of your criteria but you CHOOSE to ignore it in the case of E-40

Nah no more negotiations,he ain't gotta be on the list, ima just leave all my post here as food for thought for the people.

thanks for the props. and for the record, i wouldnt type so much towards you if you werent a respectable poster......but you know you bout to get that work right? cuz you buggin out right now.

this is what im saying. i see a whole lot of typing but instead, you couldve easily just went to youtubes and listened to an album.

so all your peoples, the clubs, everybody around you showing juvi love, and he sold a chitload of records and was the man on a legendary label. all that and you never once stopped to figure out what the hoop-la was about and check out an album? not even 400 degreez? yet, instead you automatically hold an opinion of him as a trash artist?

and no, i dont have an opinion on trinidad james. i only heard one song. thats why i said man, i cant argue with people on instances like this. youre too stuck in your ways before even giving something a chance. i cant waste my time on that. go check out the "soulja rags" album or something at least.

now as far as everything else goes.......

you think he fell off in between "mama got @$$" and "slow motion"?:what: do you not realize that "slow motion" was on the album that came out after "project english"(the album that featured "mama got a$$")????? so how is it possible that he fell off in that timeframe in your eyes if youre giving props to both joints? thats not logical. did it ever occur to you that he just didnt drop any retail music for a while due to the HIGHLY-PUBLICIZED beef with cash money? and he actually did drop music in-between that time, on the undergound tip: the popular 600 degreez mixtape.

also, the album he dropped after project english, the last cash money album & the utp joint was better than all them chits. and "rodeo" was a big hit.

if youre confused about how i did the rankings, i can break it down. and yes, i applied personal opinion but theres much more that i factored into this list. if it was just based on personal opinion, then the list would different. juvenile would prolly be higher actually.

First of all - Happy New Year.
Second - good looking out on the recommendation. Soulja Rags is the one? I'll see if I can download the LP and then throw it in the car. I'll let you know what I think. I don't do YouTube for music. And the time I have to listen to hip hop is much more limited now then when I was younger, between work, wife and baby.

I said two of my friends liked Ha when I played the video for them. No one else I knew was rocking with Juve at all. I only knew one cat who copped 400 degrees, some corny white kid trying to get into hip hop in college. I couldn't disagree more about Cash Money being legendary. I thought all the original cats - Hot Boys, Fresh and Baby were trash (in fairness, BG did have a nice verse on that song with Prodigy). To me - Cash Money was a southern phenomenon and the new No Limit for white people to latch onto. Wayne started to impress me around the Carter 2.

I guess we have a different philosophy towards wack music. To me, if the single is wack, I'm not checking for the album. If single after single is wack - I'm done checking for you. Especially now when my time to listen is so limited. You're definitely more open minded in that regard.

I actually said he fell off in terms of nationwide radio play. Beef with your record label and not releasing music is one way to not get any national radio play. Maybe Juve and Buckshot should form a support group!

I don't remember Rodeo getting much radio play - but my time in the clubs was starting to wind down in 2006. Maybe it got burn there. If you say it was a hit - ill take your word for it.

Would love to hear the criteria for the list. I know it's not a scientific formula or anything like that - but would like a list of the factors you considered.

is this list in terms of quality or sales? I'm very suprised how low eminem is.

sales & commercial impact are definitely taken into account.

but its more about quality & genuine impact on the culture.

:what: How the hell is Jay z not number 1?

i was actually just thinking that i had him too high, given the amount of bullchit that he dropped.

:skip:

I had the mixtape when Buck wuz still in the group that came with skips solo cd,they wuz rappin as a group then, and I had the From The Begging to End cd that had Nolia clap I bought and I'm pretty sure they rapped as a group the entire album, but I gotta go back and find it and listen again.

those are group to you? you really gonna compare those descriptions to that of real rap groups?

like i said, i mostly rolled with dudes who were there. some of whom are older than the rappers that you listed homie. and im talking all over that map. not just some small circle of folk. e-40's reach is not that serious down there.......now ya bul too short? thats an example of a bay area rapper thats a real legend in the south.

i did indeed detail how luke was relevant in multiple eras. you just didnt want acknowledge it. just like how youre still insisting that i ran with youngns down south so that you can carry on this myth that e-40 was king supreme in the slave states.

lol. what you not allowed to listen to music in the crib or something?:pachaha:

im not saying that soulja rags is THE ONE. it just crossed my mind as an example. if you follow hip-hop, you shouldnt have to ask what THE ONE is concerning dude. it just sounds like youre just stuck in your own world concerning alot of stuff. thats not good b.

criteria is listed earlier in this post.

I listed both at sum point in this thread.....I don't want you to embarrass yourself here by saying u never heard or heard of those songs,be careful here:whoa:...I know u not about to sit here and ask me "where are they considered classic" when you postin those juelz songs from about 5 yrs ago nobody gives 2 shyts about or considers classics:laff:

And where did u prove Luke wuz relevant in multiple eras?by sayin doo doo brown is better than any too short single:what:...I proved short had hit singles in multiple eras.

that "doo doo brown" comment was just an exclamation point.

i went in depth about the luke question earlier in the thread.
