Y'all keep saying this as if people aren't talking about hypothetical match ups all the time:

The appetites still there.
Ok but how many artists are really gonna do this? I know someone doesnt HAVE to lose , but their have been losses that hirt the artists. Theres been a lotta fall out from these things.

It could go the battle route yes but what are we really trying to watch?

So far its been big names. The big names wont keep doing this. A lot of attists dont got the hits to sustain either.

Covids over. Is it a show or battle? They gon have to work in less popular rappers and gi battle route to get people to watch.

nikkas lack imagination like a mf.
shyt only started to fall off once they started the cash grabs and making it more complex to watch. shyt went from IG n Youtube to other shytty apps.
Pandemic was pretty much over once certain acts finally got involved and they still got buzz.

I personally wouldn't have sold it, because their so much you can do with it. nikkas could have eventually went to comedians and actors, etc...If people still tune in to podcasts, nikkas will watch this shyt too. Just gotta execute it properly.

Triller was the last people to sell it to since they have a track record of being fukk ups. nikkas were too desperate to move that shyt.

look at the comments by US black people in here.

They dont respect it. "It ran its course" "It was a lockdown thing"

Black people want us to own shyt, but bail out on it.

Swizz and Tim should have said fuhk nyggas and started bringing in classic white artists, White people support shyt.

Black culture can be embarrasing as fuhk. Never satisfied with shyt.

I’m sad for you that you have so much invested in this. You should subscribe to Black Enterprise and hitch your wagon to a more worthy investment.

Lol at trying to shame all Black people over this bs.

What a terrible reply. We supported literally every Verzuz ever, and even downloaded trash ass triller to watch. You have no basis here.

But you're saying we didn't support it but we clearly did from day 1 to day 100...people here are talking about it as a business owner sense (and there are some bad takes) but as a consumer base, nobody supported anything more than black people supported verzuz and dj dnice.

I wasnt implying everyone. Black people supported. It got big from black people, but just like everything, here people are saying its over and it ran its course. So why wouldnt they sell? The goal became cash out and remain the curators with Swizz and Tim. Now, they could have brought in white acts to expand, but nyggas wouldve hated.

Most of these nyggas only cared about the rap aspect of it anyway. Not the classic great artists like the Isleys etc
