I wasnt implying everyone. Black people supported. It got big from black people, but just like everything, here people are saying its over and it ran its course. So why wouldnt they sell? The goal became cash out and remain the curators with Swizz and Tim. Now, they could have brought in white acts to expand, but nyggas wouldve hated.

Most of these nyggas only cared about the rap aspect of it anyway. Not the classic great artists like the Isleys etc

they basically sold a name. The concept they put together is something they didnt create and cant copyright. Anyone can put together a versus. They were genius in selling it at its peak. 2. Trusting unqualified tech bros to advance Verzuz and grow triller. Their app was an abomination, and worse, they were awful businessmen and were shady with money.

I downloaded Triller when verzuz moved to there for the Raekwon/Ghostface matchup and deleted it when I couldn't even watch the Verzuz match on there...ended up watching it from Ismokehiphop's 3rd party stream on YouTube.

Triller will not be around in a couple of years. I don't see anything special about it other than being a rap version of TikTok.

A lot of ya'll were done with it after The Lox vs Dipset Verzuz, so I don't really see the problem. Unless we 're somehow getting George Clinton, Beyonce, Rihanna, Mariah, Janet, Busta, Missy, Nas, Jay Z,, Puff, Dre, Quincy Jones, or some other iconic artists to participate in a Verzuz, I don't really see what else there is to show

I liked the low budget webcam aspect of it. Some events suffered because of tech (RZA couldn't get his sound right in the Premier battle) but that almost made it more approachable and down to earth.

I feel like when they tried to get back on stage and make it into ticketed events, it was a different audience and some of that appeal was lost, even if it's in person
